Pink parakeet ink by Gloria Poole of Springfield Missouri

This is an ink drawing I, Gloria Poole, aka gloria0817 aka gloriapoole aka gloria-poole aka gloria.poole; aka gloria_poole aka gpoole817 aka Ms Gloria Poole aka Poole,Gloria, aka gloria-poole drew on 30th Nov 2019 and signed and dated in right side of paper in pink ink. Pink ink is something I had to buy twice since a criminal thug broke into my apt and stole an entire bottle of magenta ink. Criminals think that GOD doesn't see what they do but HE does & HE keeps score and HE avenges those who are persecuted for righteousness sake according to the Holy Bible. About 35 items have been stolen from my so-called private apt in Springfield Missouri since I moved here in Oct 2018. Some of them were expensive but all were important to me and some are irreplaceable.

Sunday Morning written by Gloria Poole of Springfield,Missouri

Here is my "poem" I wrote this morning. It's self explanatory.

Sunday Morning
written by me Gloria Poole aka gloria0817 and gloriapoole and gloria.poole and gloria_poole

Seven a.m.
Sunday morning
on my balcony.
From here
the stillness is palpable.

The quiet hangs
in the air
like a curtain.
No traffic
on the artery.

And the heliport beacon
flashes two at a time
in the morning fog.

A black bird
soars from its perch
on the edge of
a tall building
and spreads its wings
into elegant flight.

A lone car
sits in the parking lot
across the street
by the crepe myrtle
silhouetted by pink and green.

No human in sight
on the walking path
by the majestic trees
clothed in green

With branches reaching
to the heavens
like up-raised hands
of praise.

The city's night lights
are off
and look forlorn
against the blue-grey clouds.

Ah! I breathe in deeply
and feel the tension go.
I am safe
in this little niche corner
of the world
for the time being.

A yellow cab van
comes tentatively
down the artery
toward me
then past,
to their waiting human.

A butterfly fluttered by
and a jet
roars overhead
headed to outskirts
where airport is.

The copse of trees
to my left
are so impressive
that I study them

Every time
I sit on my balcony.
Two of them are pines,
the long leaf kind.

And they are side by side
intertwined
like a married couple.
The branches of one
interspersed among the branches
of the other
and vice versa.
Ever green.

And the other two trees
tightly knit are different
and voluptuously full of leaves,
fuller at the top
blocking out the sky.

And I wonder,
"could I plant my peach trees there?"
Would the matronly looking tree
watch over them?
Or would the four sets
of roots starve them?

The top branches of the pines
have finger-like needles
on foot long skinny stems
of wood,
like hands with fingers spread
making a visual
against the brightening sky.

The storm cloud shaped like
a Pillsbury dough boy
of a dark grey
moves over the trees
and morphs before my eyes.

Someone's air conditioner
sounds like a jet
on the tarmac
revving up for take-off.

And I think,
"that air conditioner
is struggling to cool
the humid air."

The storm cloud
changes shape again
and now looks like
a rectangular box
with clothes thrown in,
lumpy edges.

Traffic is beginning.
The hour has changed.
Now the storm cloud
looks like
a woman's wedding dress

With cap sleeves,
full bodice,
a bustle
and a long flowing skirt.
Then it dissolves.

The ribbon of the sidewalk
spanning the green
carpet of grass
curves to the left,
then back right
and then vanishes.

A car drives to the dumpster
and its trunk pops open
and a person exits
and removes two plastic bags
and puts them in
and then drives off.

And I think ,
"do people five hundred yards
from a dumpster
drive to it?"
It seems so.

Someone drives the artery
without a muffler,
and its raucous
this time of day.
A sound that diverts
my attention.

Now the dark clouds
are arranged
in front of me,
like eleven tree shapes
in a row!
I counted them.

"The heavens declare the glory of GOD"
The Holy Bible says,
and it's true.

The delicate blues, silver and greys
that are drops of water
arranged by GOD's own hand
always fascinate me.

The three flags
on the huge building
next to where the black bird flew
are still,
just there
on their poles:

The U.S., the Missouri
and the family crest.
And I am reminded
of an image
I saw long ago.

Of The Queen's flag
flying
from the turret,
to announce,
she's in residence.

The quiet is gone.
Cars, trucks and motorcycles
buzz by.
So does an ambulance.

The loud
air conditioner
is back ON!
The spell is broken.

Today is 11 August 2019 and it is 10:26am, central time.

I celebrated my "happy birthday yesterday not my real birthday" to quote one of my grand-daughters.

Sketch tropical fish I drew in 2018

I , [Gloria Poole, Registered Nurse, artist in all mediums] drew this sketch and painted it with watercolors last year on watercolor paper. I signed it and dated it 26 July 2018. I am still drawing often enough to not get rusty with it. I have to find more of my recent sketches since when I uploaded them my new computer unlabeled them as I had my original photographs labeled and scrambled them to hide them from me. So it takes time to sort through AGAIN the 5000 or more photos labeled only w/ the date. I suppose computer algorithyms do that to attempt to hide any ownership or copyright of created work but it is clearly illegal activity to create algorithyms to steal copyrighted images!

I , Gloria aka gloria0817, aka gpoole817, aka gloriapoole aka gloria.poole aka gloria_poole [Gloria Poole is MY REAL NAME since I was given it at birth], moved to Springfield, Missouri on 22nd Sept 2018 via moving company. I like Springfield very much.

I am updating blogs intermittently. Because there has been such massive identity theft of art drawings and paintings I created, signed and photographed and uploaded; and of my name it is not as easy to update the headers on my blogs. I tried too on some blogs but the confusion caused by i.d. thieves has taken a while to undo.

Also today, I filtered and reported spam to Google and internet from 17 fraudulent con-people who tried to hijack my name, and this account and my gmail with it, and who may have tried to use bank cards of mine to order fraudulent packages. I am doing what I can to stop identity theft.

I am a divorced twice white christian woman, and mother of 2 grown daughters named Jennifer and Leigh, but no sons. I also have grandchildren. The photo of me wearing dressy black hat in profile that may or may not appear to the public is me on an Easter Sunday about 4 yrs ago but I also posted new pic of me in same hat to my blog at https://gloriapoole.blogspot.com this past week.

Oil Painting painted by me Gloria Poole of Springfield, Missouri

This is an oil painting I painted in Columbia Missouri during the 9 years I lived there. I moved to Springfield Missouri in Sept 2018.

I am posting this painting here because it took me weeks to reconstruct the correct login info for this account of mine because my identity was stolen by ID thieves in Oct 2017. I had to read through dozens of my notes to find the info I needed.

Reminder I was born in the state of Georgia, USA and am a US citizen. I am writing that because the people who broke into this account of mine flooded it with Mexican sounding names and stuff I could not read, and stuff I would never sign up for. Poole is the my last name I was born with.

This painting is to make my art visible to Springfield Missouri and world and to Google, so they would recognize me. I had to buy new computer, new router, new phones [and kept old phones or most of them, also] for a reason.

Happy Easter to all! I am Christian.
